National White Cane Project

Everyone who needs a
white cane should have one.

We’ve partnered with Aftersight on the National White Cane Project to put durable white canes (Urban Xplorer canes) in the hands of people who are blind or have low vision.

Canes Across America: Join the pack

No one should have to walk alone. Awarewolf Gear and Aftersight are working to put a strong, dependable white cane in the hands of everyone who needs one, in every state. Every gift helps put a new cane in someone’s hand, shipped to their door, and with it the freedom to go where they want, when they want.

Your gift goes twice as far.

An anonymous donor will match the first $5,000 raised, dollar for dollar.

Stronger together. Every gift, large or small, helps someone get where they’re going.

Our partnership

Awarewolf Gear

Our founder, “Sedona Dave” Epstein, is a blind hiker. We design strong, lightweight mobility canes — including the All-Terrain Cane and the Urban Xplorer — for people who want to stay active and on the move.

Aftersight

Aftersight, formerly the Audio Information Network of Colorado, is a nonprofit serving people who are blind or have low vision with accessible audio, support groups and community programs — including its White Cane Project, which provides free white canes.

This program is managed by Aftersight. Restrictions apply.
